Alumni Webinar Series

We are excited to announce the launch of our Alumni Webinar Series with BB&T (now Truist) Leadership Institute!

This will be a 3-part series taking place on September 16, 2020, November 17, 2020 and January 21, 2021.

Each session with be approximately 60 minutes with your option of 11:00 am or 1:30 pm on each date. All taken place on Eastern Standard Time.

Embracing the Opportunity of Change

The current environment has highlighted how critical it is to have effective change leadership. In this workshop, we’ll share insights on how to navigate and lead change, pulling in relevant real-time insights while providing evergreen concepts that have stood the test of time, applicable to any change scenario.

Objectives:

  • Understand the phases of change done to us and change done by us
  • Learn ways to navigate the complexities of change, both personally and for your team
  • Use change to your advantage and create an action plan to help move yourself and your team through the change curve

Managing Stress through Resilience

During challenging times, leaders tend to give attention to the needs of the organization and of our teammates.  It’s just as important to focus on self-care, building and maintaining resilience to optimize individual and team performance. 

  • Explore the impact of stress on the brain and mind
  • Discover and apply resilience strategies to optimize team performance 
  • Embrace challenge and uncertainty (cognitive reframing)
  • Focus on what you can control
  • Find the small moments that matter (gratitude)

The Beliefs that Drive Results

Gain a deeper understanding of what actually contributes to the results that you get with your team.  You’ll look behind the results to the core contributing factors and leave the session with practical actions you can take.

Objectives:  Using your real-time situation, you will:

  • Experience advanced techniques that can surface related beliefs and behaviors that were previously out of reach 
  • Gain insights about how to use this foundational tool to improve your school’s results
