How to Apply
The application process for the Class of 2016 is now open. Click here to apply. The application cannot be saved and must be completed in one sitting. Partial applications will not be considered.
Applicants must be a current Kentucky public or private school principal (vice or assistant principals are not eligible). Elementary, middle and high school principals are eligible. Preference will be given to those early in their career as a principal. Applicants must be available for leadership training on the following dates:
June 16-18, 2015 (Greensboro, N.C.)
Sept. 15-16, 2015 (Frankfort, Ky.)
Jan. 26-27, 2016 (Frankfort, Ky.)
July 14-16, 2015 (Greensboro, N.C.)
October 20-21, 2015 (Frankfort, Ky.)
February 9-10, 2016 (Frankfort, Ky.)
Applications, including the letter of recommendation, must be submitted by midnight on Friday, March 6, 2015. Successful applicants will be notified by Monday, April 17, 2015.
A letter of recommendation from your superintendent (or immediate supervisor for private school applicants) is required. The letter may be submitted as a PDF or Word document to firstname.lastname@example.org. Although email submission is preferred, the letter may also be mailed to the address noted below. The letter should indicate why the applicant is qualified and would benefit from attending the Leadership Institute.
